With George’s fiery guitar as its centerpiece, this virtuoso Bay Area band will immerse you in their infectious, original jazz groove. The George Cole Quintet style has been dubbed "Eurocana", a celebration of the great American songbook inspired by the dynamic string-driven swing created by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli in 1930s Paris. In addition to new material, they will be playing from their CD Riverside Drive (Pete Douglas' current favorite fun CD) which captures the essence of classic Thirties tunes but maintains a modern sensibility.
